New CMS rules for enrollment updates and their impact

As of July 19, 2024, CMS is blocking agents and brokers from making changes to a consumer’s FFM enrollment unless the agent is already associated with the consumer’s enrollment. This applies to all agent-assisted enrollment applications across all enrollment platforms.

FFM account integration now lasts for 12 hours

tarting today, July 12, CMS is mandating that agents reintegrate their FFM accounts every 12 hours on all EDE platforms. You’ll start to see new countdowns and reminders in your HealthSherpa Agent Dashboard to make reintegration easy and help you avoid interruptions to your workflow.
